Happy 5th Birthday

Dear Ziggy, I love you so much and I can't believe you're now a 5 year old! To me that means you are officially a BIG boy and although i'm so happy that you're growing up, i'm also a little sad. I'll never forget that moment, 5 year ago from today, when you popped 'outta me. The universe aligned, I saw stars and when I looked into your eyes, you made me realize that somewhere out there, there is a God. How could someone so special and so beautiful come from me? Meeting you was the best moment in my entire life. When you were a baby, the whole world would stop and look at you. Strangers passing by would always comment on how wonderful you were. You could make the grumpiest old man smile in a flash by just glancing over with your giant, bright moon eyes. It was like you had an aura that people just couldn't resist. I love your old wise soul. You've always been so patient, so calm, thoughtful, introspective and kind. I'm the luckiest mom to have such a lovely kid be mine. This past year you filled new shoes as an older brother and my have you done that with such grace. One of my happiest moments is seeing you hold your baby brother's hand while we're driving in the car. Over the years you've made me laugh. I'm going to miss all the silly things you've done. When you were one, you called blueberries "blue babies". At two, you renamed your self Gaiceewohwoh, a bunny that listened to Metallica and System of a Down. at three you declared your favorite all time color as white and discovered your new passion, Legos. at four, you called the bridge over viers mill, 'the green bridge of life'. You also called the jacuzzi in mexico, sacooji. haha. It's been a kooky and amazing journey watching you bud into the person you are these past five years. Can't wait to see what's ahead.
