sneak peak

guess what ziggy's getting for his bday? roller skates! we had to try them on tonight to see if they fit. originally we wanted to get him a tricycle but he didn't want anything to do with one. when i showed him the skates he said "get it get it!" i think he wants to be a hockey star.

big foot

i randomly walked into a kid shoe store the other day and thought i'd check ziggy's foot size...turns out he was wearing sneakers that were 2 sizes too small.....OUCH. go here for a printable shoe chart.

building museum

note the melissa and doug toy, it's awesome! ziggy opened all the locks about 3 or 4 times.

art class

these three spend the majority of the class running around, screaming and chasing each other. we made a new friend brody who's a month older than z-man.

truck

saw this truck towing an ambulance today. i hate ambulances, they make me think of my dad when he passed and my palms get sweaty.

silas

we went down to richmond to visit niya and acie's new kid, silas. he's so cute and small. ziggy would make a great older brother (but not anytime soon or maybe even ever). it's hard to believe he was ever as small as silas.

swimmy

we went swimming for the first time in a while and ziggy really enjoyed it.

fun visit

i've only met my cousin twice before his visit here but knowing he's my cousin automatically bonds us. on the last night we took him clubbing where we found out he's an awesome dancer. talk about moves! stinks to have family live so far away.

ziggy's first rock concert was watching rocknoceros. he liked it.

jammies

my cousin got z a bunch of paul frank jammies from korea. they are so soft and cute.

guess who can count to 10?

ziggy can, all by himself. he can count up to twenty but needs some help after 10.

oppa

my cousin is here from korea. it's his first visit to the u.s. he's so funny and neat. we took him to see the space shuttle and he loved it. he remembers it launching when he was 12 and crying because his mom couldn't buy him a space shuttle toy back in the day. (mark's dad is getting him one this tuesday, shhh don't tell).

not so safe

driving with only one window clear, not safe. standing under an icicle that could kill, nope, not safe at all.

snow lover

i'm so freaking sick of snow, it's snowing again as i type this. i guess i can't hate on it too much because of these snow lovers. ziggy is a huge fan of sledding and slipping on ice, i mean just look at that smile, he just gets giddy.

sweetest sister

i'm so lucky to have shana as my sister. she takes care of me and everyone around her. my in-laws are pretty sweet too. they are watching ziggy today and tomorrow while i get a handle on this stomach virus. oh and since i'm having a love fest, thank you to mark for dropping off the littleman at his grandparents before work today.
