Slept a whole night

Last night I slept a whole night! I cannot even remember the last time I did that. I think Simon is officially weened! 16 months and hopefully the last time ever breast feeding in my lifetime

Niya, Silas and Lincoln

Look at who came to visit? Who would have thought Niya and I would have made so many boys? We all got along great and I'm excited to see simey and Lincoln blossom into buddyship

i just sat through a really long infomercial but got 5 helpful diet tips: avoid all GMO foods and these items: OJ, Margarine, Whole Wheat Pasta/Bread, Processed Soy, and Corn

Date

Mark's parents are so nice. Ziggy begged for days (even cried) to see his grandma and pa so they offered to hang out with the boys. That left mark and I alone and we toodled around town and discovered a park in DC. It was fun

simey is so hard to draw! I did this sketch which i was happy with but then when i took a step back, i realized that's not the style i'm going for. Gotta start over. he has ridiculously large hands and feet. ziggy really liked this drawing. he wants me to redraw him in this style. he didn't like that his eyes were all black in the other one. simon is saying many words now: ball bah ball (basketball) momma daddy diggy (ziggy) blueberry strawberry do this up down

home life

6 years gone daddy gone

dear dad, i can't believe you've been away for 6 years now! there are so many things i want to share with you and a couple of neat kids you've never even met! life is short so i'm trying to enjoy every minute. First day of kindergarten

The little big guy is excited for his first day of school. I'm a happy mom but I can't help but feel like crying too!

Happy birthday to me!

What a wonderful day! Zi took me to see the rare corpse flower bloom. Then we enjoyed the sunny breezy day in DC. We went to grandmas store to fix her wifi. Had dinner at oro pomodoro with our neighbors and came home to eat ice cream cake.

Swimmer

Ziggy can swim now! It happened overnight! One day he wasn't able to put his face in the water, the next he couldn't stop floating with his whole head submerged. Way to go little guy!

Birthday weekend

I had a date with mark. we went to circle bistro while my sisters babysat. Then my sisters, mark and mom treated me to a shopping spree. Look at some of my spoils. Thanks, I feel ready to enter my 32nd year of life.
