three-and-a-half

ziggy is now three and a half and something is changing! he doesn't even seem like a toddler to me anymore. just a big kid. he's really into legos, ninjas and star wars right now. ask him what darth vader's face looks like and he'll tell you "turkey meat." i love this guy.

shana babysat ziggy and tried to recreate this video. unfortunatly, the lights weren't working right but i got this cute photo out of it.

someone's gonna be a ninja for halloween. his real costume has a black shirt and pants!

hatty gets married

hatnim is my bosom buddy from high school, we got into a lot of trouble together like getting caught shop lifting at hects and joy riding her parents cadillac at 13. even though she caused me ibs, we have many fun memories together. we had a huge falling out over glamour shots our junior year of high school and didn't speak for 10 years. we somehow made amends a few years ago and ziggy was a part of her wedding. it's nice to reconnect with someone familiar. hatnim married weijin and now she's off to london. i'm going to miss her...again!

baltimore

went with hana and saw the dirtiest pigeon i've ever seen! ate the best food at the regis thanks to jeany and enjoyed our day exploring baltimore.

my plants

before i moved, i gave away my container gardens and jade tree collection. i was so excited to see them all thriving. this time i cut a chunk off the jade tree i gave michele and planted in front of my house. my containers grew so much, i don't know why this excites me so much.

shannon

stayed with shannon for a night. she's got an incredible vintage apartment. i am still dreaming about the tap dancing penguin sheets we slept on. i had more pictures of all her cool stuff but my stupid computer corrupted them all and i will never see them again. shannon is so sweet and cozy.

market street

we stayed at the whitcomb during the wedding. it's on market street with the usual hijinx, the tourists, the graffiti, the psycho bums and druggies. i like the new muni stations.
