belly

i'm 35 weeks and getting many contractions now. don't know how much longer it'll be. zig was born at 37.5 weeks. how about this guy?

baby shower

hana hosted a lovely baby shower for baby simon. it was a lovely time.

party pictures

we threw ziggy's 4th birthday party at marvatots, a gym. it was so nice because they had coaches that split the kids into groups and let the kids jump and run around. my camera ran out of batteries so i'll have to post more pictures once i get them from hana. then we opened presents at home. ziggy has such a great time.

birthday boy

today the kids sang happy birthday for z at school. it was so cute. some kids ate only the frosting, some kids ate only the marshmallow, and some only ate the cake. kids are funny. then i played at home with him, i had to pretend to be poison ivy all day long, he was batman. then he chose this for dinner, fish roe and shrimp tempura sushi.

ziggy is 4!

today is ziggyman's birthday! my baby turned 4! I can't tell you how much i enjoyed his 3s. he's so sweet and smart and funny. I almost feel sad. my honey years where time floats by so slowly, sweetly and sticky are fading.

sick

ziggy is sick. it's his first time on antibiotics. it's day 4 and we noticed a huge improvement.

lego cupcakes

tomorrow i get to go to class with z. since it's his birthday, mark and i made lego cupcakes and potted cosmo plants for him to give away.

spremich

michele, jon, garrick and cecily stopped by for a couple days. what a nice treat to see old friends you love.

neighbors

yesterday was so nice out. our neighbors all stopped by and drew on our sidewalks. mark took them on a wagon ride.

silent mornings

3 days a week, i sit in silence in my home all by myself. usually just for 20 minutes before i get some chores and illustrations done. i'm soaking it up before baby comes.

wacky wednesday

today is wacky wednesday at school. here's the outfit he chose himself.

ds boy

ziggy is really into his batman lego game. i can honestly say he can play all by himself, he know how to detonate bombs, who can fit through tunnels, how to fight the bad guys, how to grapple. just like daddy but didn't think at 3 he would do this!

31 weeks

3D scan at 31 weeks. I can not believe how amazing the sonogram machines are these days. i think he looks so much like mark. he has mark's essence, my lips and chin, ziggy's nose. oh i can't wait to meet this little guy!
