one of my favorite parts of this trip was seeing the hollywood sign up at griffen park.

LA

blogging about those california songs paid off. mark and i are going to LA without the ziggyman. we're going to miss him but we'll be back on wednesday after attending the skyrim launch party. i'm excited, i've never been to LA before. special thanks to nima and sormeh, they totally hooked us up with buddy passes since nima is a pilot for southwest. also thanks to my sisters for tirelessly helping me looks for a dress (a failed attempt) and to mark's family for watching ziggy so that we have this opportunity.

went to perry ave with wyatt, john, his new girlfriend emily and grandma teare. each house on this street had extravagant displays but the candy was lame. next year we'll go around our block then hit up perry ave for the sights.

you would have been 64 today. best advice you've ever given me was to "use your own judgement" might seem simple but this advice comes in handy and i think about it everyday. probably would never have finished college without this one. miss and love ya!
