in a nutshell

so that's our trip to new mexico in a nutshell, it was fun as heck but we didn't have enough time to see everything we wanted.

and last we met up with aunt jane, mark's dad's sister whom ziggy was really fond of.

we met aunty tince and aunty tots, ziggy's great grandma's twin sisters. they are lovely and both live in their own adobe homes in a cul de sac in albuquerque. they happen to own two of the cutest homes in the entire united states.

santa fe

santa fe is fancy town. according to some, it's become a little too posh and polished.

great grandpa

we visited great grandpa's grave site. the headstone was new.

it was stunning.

san juan river

was a good place to fish until johnny hooked himself to the bone after pulling out a large rainbow trout. mark had ziggyman on his shoulders and ran towards the car when thwap, a branch slapped the poor kid in the forehead. john rode home with a fish hook lodged in his finger, no pants on and a poopy blanket on his lap and ziggy survived with nothing but a few scratches on his head.
