awesome homes

we went to the solar decathlon and it was really cool. some of the homes generated so much power that they actually gave back to the grid! unfortunately we weren't able to go inside every home. there was one in particular that i would like to have as my next home designed by the university of arizona, the one with the funky olive curtains. the shiny black square home from germany won first place.

one sock

he was being so sweet and cute this day. now if only he'd stop waking up at 4 am for a you tube party.

i love 2/3 of shana's glasses but sometimes i think she would look good with contacts.

style

i feel drab so i'm going to start dressing cooler. i see a lot of black in my future. alice glass and taylor are my fashion favorites at the moment. oh yeah and i got a perm yesterday. there will be a picture of it one of these days.
and i bought this awesome bracelet. love it!

i found this old cookbook in my mom's bookshelf. i remember making the hamburger faces for dinner once. this book makes me laugh.

smith lake mountain

brynne and nick invited everyone to hang out for a long weekend at smith lake mountain, va. the house they rented was right on the lake. it was the quaintest little town with the friendliest people. we did a lot of fishing, boating and eating.

yesterday was chusok which is the harvest festival or a korean version of thanksgiving. we ate a lot of food and it was good. here is us ladies, and the whole family.
