3 years has come around so quickly and i feel so lucky to have had the chance to spend everyday with you. you're my favorite person in the whole wide world. i love you ziggy, happy birthday!

i'm planting stuff and i have no idea what i'm doing but i know that i love flowers and that when they sprout out of the ground i get all giddy inside. I also ordered a bottle brush tree for ziggy (the tall thing in the plastic bag). it's a tree that you'll see around the sidewalks of san francisco so i thought it would be nice to have one in our yard. i hope the montgomery county tree police don't come and arrest me. it's not meant for my plant zone but i'm giving a try anyway.

my family and i were supposed to go to a trade show on sunday. we got half way there and decided to play hookie, we went to tj maxx instead then had dinner at my place.

spring fever is starting and this year my flower cravings are in full force! here is my first crocus. It makes me smile.

karen bought a 2 bedroom condo and we had the chance to have dinner with her and khoa yesterday at her new home. I don't think i've ever seen her so happy in my life. I am so proud of her and i love her new place!

we had a dinner to celebrate all of mark's hard work. i made col rolladen, salad and garlic mashed potatoes (which i thought was a vikingy type of meal). what a fun night, other then the fact that i lost my ring! special thanks to sadie for playing with ziggy while we were getting ready.

he's really into trains right now, something i never played with as a kid. his favorite song at the moment is psycho killer by the talking heads. repeated 10 times on the way home from mom's store yesterday and 4 times today. the other day in the bath, he pointed at mark's toe and said "hey, nice toe!"
