we had a sleepover with sawyer, the last lulei kid. his pants were a million sizes too big, the fly was busted open, he didn't have any socks and he had dirt in his fingernails. it's tough being the last kid. mark took him on a shopping spree where he got a new outfit and a ds game.

we're renovating my mom's bathrooms. goodbye pink toilet, goodbye blue toilet. and on the notion of change, mark and i have been looking to buy a home in rockville.

weekend fun

it finally feels like spring after a weird heat wave. friday we saw the capitals win. saturday we spent the day doing yard work while ziggy played with water. sunday we hung out in maryland then took ziggy to the playground where he had a lesson in roller skating.

pre-pre school

ziggy and i are taking a new class together called tiny tots activity time. i would recommend this class for any 2 year old it's like preschool except you can sit there with your kid. the instructor's goal is to get your child to be as independent as possible so during the 90 minutes she encouraged them to make their craft without our help, clean up after themselves, sit still and listen during story time and sing songs and dance.

it was a perfect afternoon for naked sprinkler time. it's probably the hottest spring ever this year.

this year we met up at a park and hid eggs all over the playground. ziggy was excited about collecting eggs and he got quite a few. if you're wondering why sawyer has a pacifier in his mouth it's because he opened an egg that had one in it.

gone fishin'

we hung out with some teares on friday. teagan and ziggy went fishing for the first time, they were more interested in getting their cheese fix on. it was a beautiful day and hot...like 80 degrees hot. john caught 1 bass then we headed over to a BBQ place for mac n cheese and pulled meat sandwiches.
