cherry blossoms: year two

look how much ziggy has grown up since last year. he's running and talking, it's amazing. note to self: the cherry blossoms are pinker when they just bloom, next year head into the city a week earlier.

the flowers were so beautiful it put all the kids in a great mood. instead of beating and slapping one another and telling each other to 'go away', they were dancing together and kissing.

we went to this wild basketball court in maryland. it was neat!

street hockey

john's on spring break right now. yesterday we went to the playground and they played street hockey.

how to train your dragon

we met up with grandpa, uncle john, teagan and his friends nomi and niya to watch this movie in the theatre. ziggy and nomi were chattering throughout the movie with each other, they would say "man, boy, dragon, fire, hot, sleeping, flying, wow, oh no! hat" on repeat. it was cute. some jerk complained about teagan being too loud and grandpa and teagan almost got kicked out. who does that in a kids movie at 10 in the morning? on a side note, bonus time at clinique in macy's.

playground

all ziggy wants to do this spring is be ou-thhide (outside). so we met up with his buddies nomi, niya and shaun. this is also his new silly face, he pulls the skin on the bottom of his eyes down.

birthday bonanza finale

and he had a pirate party. what an amazing difference from last year where he'd close his eyes and hope it all would go away. this year he was happy to be in the chaos. he helped grandma teare make the awesome octopus cake.

on saturday halmonie caught ziggy a toad from the backyard. he was fascinated! he then spent the night at grandma & pa's. mark and i went on a date and he surprised me with this beautiful gem! diamonds and gold for ziggy's 2nd birthday, wowwie! not bad!

on friday, mark and i took him to eat at cici's pizza (the grossest place ever) then to chuck e. cheese's (another really gross place). despite the fact that 'the people under the stairs' came out to both places, ziggy liked it.
