tot lot with his good pal nomi. some cute things nomi did: sat at a table full of 3-year-olds and tried to make conversation by tapping the table and saying "hot" and "ball" (some of the few words she knows). fell and skimmed her knee and said sorry to it. she also didn't understand how to make noise in a kazoo so she stuck it in ziggy's mouth and made him blow it for her.

zoo part two

we took another jab at the zoo and this trip worked out great! ziggyman was happy to see all the animals this time and he even got to see an elephant get bathed.

saturday

i'm enjoying my saturday. i headed out to silver spring to hang with natasha sans baby. we ate a latkes, lox and egg breakfast before dipping our legs in the pool. afterwards we went to a flea market and a consignment shop where i got this ring. i'm back home now, baby is asleep and there's a thunderstorm passing by.

good news

remember the good news i mentioned a million days back where everyone thought i was pregnant? it's not me, but i can finally announce that my dear friend niya is pregnant with her first kidlet. hip hip hooray!

new discovery

connie mentioned you can make playlists on you tube and hit play all! i never knew! this is perfect for entertaining ziggy when i'm on long annoying calls with my lender or real estate agent.

so tired

poor z-man, he's so tired from watching the game yesterday. he didn't sleep 'till midnight and woke up at 7 really crabby so he passed out in the bathtub. i'm letting him sleep, he's got a swim class in a couple hours.

we went to see the nationals play yesterday. it was fun and ziggy got to eat some nachos.

ziggy discovered headphones today with the help of his uncle. he's a fan.

hot as...

today was sooo hot! we went to the playground for 20 mins and he was begging to leave (which never happens). he went down the slide all by himself for the very first time. i was so proud of him.
