we're taking both kids to swim class soon. they start in august.

zignorm updates

so i forgot to share some recent ziggy updates. he is finally sleeping through the night. only one boob feeding at 9pm then he sleeps all the way through till 7am. i think he's ready to give up the boob and even though i didn't think i'd ever feel like this, i'm not sure if i am ready to stop breastfeeding yet.he has one molar on the bottom right and he's growing about 3 other teeth. he naps once a day and has been running around with no pants on at home so that he can start learning how to use the potty by himself. now if he could just say a few words!

gross

the picture above is gross. i ate duck feet for lunch today, sounds gross and hella nasty but i really enjoyed it! i also found a worm in my bok choy at dinner today, gross and not enjoyable.

i'm the luckiest girl in the world because i just got the dopest canon slr rebel camera for my birthday. thanks everyone!! i don't know much about photography but this will be a good reason to get motivated and learn.

birthday beach bunnies

i had a very enjoyable birthday this year. markiepoo, ziggy and i packed up our swimsuits and headed to the beach. unlike northern california beaches, the water is quite warm which makes it perfect for wading in. ziggy loved the sand and hopping over shallow waves. we strolled along the boardwalk, took afternoon naps together and enjoyed an overindulgent beach buffet.

james and hana were up here and since james had a birthday last week we went out for a korean feast after a stroll to the playground.

niya

we visited niya for a quick 24 hour trip and it was so fun! she spoiled me with thoughtful gifts, made ziggy and me dinner, treated us to delicious thai food and fried ice cream and celebrated birthday wishes with the fabulous ukrop's vanilla cupcakes with fudgie frosting. niya also took us to the lewis ginter botanical garden which happened to have a butterfly exhibit.

we saw karen play flag football yesterday. her team is called hot soss. it was fun. mark and ziggy have the exact same face in the picture above.

zoo

we went to the zoo with nomi and connie today and boy was it stressful! ziggy had a meltdown for no reason and it gave me the cold sweats. there were a bus load of amish folks and they would give me stinky looks as i passed them while ziggy was wailing. the kids ate lunch but zig was still being a crazyhead after eating so we left. he did enjoy the small mammals so i'll have to go back with him when he's not so sleep deprived and mean.

house crap

my house is giving me an aneurism, it is so stressful and it makes me want to die! i finally have approval to sell from my first mortgage company but there are a million and one additional complications popping up. argh!
