not a teenage mom

most strangers that see me with ziggy assume that i'm a teenager with a kid. they think i'm a decade+ younger than what i actually am it's ridiculous! i mean come on people, i'm not 14!

ziggy vids

ziggy barfed in the car today. he's such a good baby that he didn't even cry, his face was telling me "mommy, this tastes weird and kind of gross." i think he's starting to get car sickness. hana tells me i drive like a learch so that would explain why. poor little guy.

frankenstein

this dog is terrifying! at least ziggy thinks so. his name is frankenstein and he's a shih tsu puppy. he may look like an adorable cotton ball fluff with bear paws but beware, he's loaded with deadly love and kisses for any innocent bystander. he's andrew and angela's new baby, they are karen's cousin.

happy birthday niya!

remember this from last year? so much has changed since then. hope you have a fun birthday, can't wait to meet your nugget in february!

happy birthday shana! have a fun filled year 26. you're a great sister, a wonderful daughter and the sweetest me-mo to ziggy. we love you.

mark's mom made this perfect yorkshire pudding. she cooked all holiday and we ate like kings. she's a great cook.

best yet

this was the best christmas yet. i think this year will be hard to beat. not only did ziggy get to spend quality time with both of our families. he got showered with some amazing gifts! a walking dinosaur, a remote controlled car that drives on the wall and ceiling, a crayola glow station, a kid sized recliner, a wooden tool station, a clubhouse that mark and i made for him, zoo animal nesting dolls, a doctor kit, books on san francisco, a sock monster, a mr. rude doll, and an electronic alphabet thingy for the fridge.

it's up over my knees and it's still not stopping. ziggy is sick so he can't even play out there.

there's a blizzard outside, it looks like it's at 7" right now. we're snowed in and snugly.

'tween

ziggy's not a baby but not quite a boy yet. britney spears sums it up best with her song "i'm not a girl, not quite a woman" she's so wise (i'm being sarcastic...i'll stop now). but really, i could have him stay this age forever. he's so adorable and funny. i don't think i'm ready for him to get all grownzed up yet. where the heck is the pause button?!

smooth stone

ziggy came up to me and said "mommy?" then handed me what i thought was a smooth stone. it turns out it was a turd! i guess the new diaper covers are too big and a poo ball fell out the leg hole. some people get a lump of coal for christmas...i get poo.

look what santa shana got ziggyman for christmas. it's plushy and it reclines! it's sitting in a huge box downstairs, he's not allowed to open it until christmas. oooooh i can't wait 'til christmas!

zenimax holiday party

mark's holiday party was last saturday and boy was it fun!! they had an open bar and gave $25,000 of fake money to gamble with. we sat and played black jack and our dealer kept giving us $25,000 chips just because she was nice! you earned a ticket for every $25,000 and with each ticket you could enter it in the raffle to win fancy prizes. we won 12 tickets but didn't manage to bring home any prize. mark hates this photo because his hand is in his pocket.

pre-barf

this was one hour before we attempted to go to hana's art opening at the torpedo factory. (congratulations hana!) we actually headed towards the gallery but decided to turn back home since traffic was so bad. lucky we did because once we set foot back at the house there was a barf-'splosion! poor baby, thank goodness he didn't explode at a gallery!

gloves

i got z these gloves and he loves them! he points at things and claps when he wears them and mostly keeps his fingered spread apart like a fan. he also has a pair of mittens but he despises those.

winter wonderland

today feels so fun and cozy! the snow is still falling and it's the perfect kind for building snowmen.

first snow of the season

what a treat to wake up this morning and see big fluffy globs of snow falling from the sky. ziggy's saying peaceeee!
