tall teeth

here's a good picture of his two bottom teeth, they are big now and he uses them to bite the crap out of mark's finger. he likes to get his teeth brushed every night.

foodie

i haven't updated anyone much on ziggy's solids. he bypassed stage 1 foods (he wasn't ever a fan) and he's eating stage 2 foods like turkey dinner, chicken soup, stuff like that. overall i don't think he likes baby food and prefers adult foods like refried beans, pho and pickles. maybe he just doesn't like all his flavors mixed into one jar like apples and chicken, doesn't that sound weird?

toofless sam

here's a face i call toofless sam. he's been doing this a lot the past week or so. maybe his top two teeth are coming in?

in da crib again

i got some good advice from grandma and niya. clip shmeegie's nails or buy the rubber covers that slide over the claws. but i'm too lazy to do either so instead i've just been closing the door to the bedroom so she can't sneak in the crib but i forgot to today so here's another shot of my love hate relationship with the cat in the crib.

this is ziggy's first halloween so he's dressed as the first president of the u.s.a. i made the costume and it took foooorever but it was well worth it!

two captains in this boat

jack and ziggy both happened to have the same shirt so we thought 'hey, lets dress them alike and throw them in a boat'. this is what two bored moms do on a monday. vote no on prop 8 heh heh.

park with daddy

one of our favorite things to do is meet dad for lunch in a park. ziggy likes to sit on his neck.

passed out

ziggy and jack both passed out in the car yesterday. look at jack's cute haircut. ziggy will not need one until he's 10.

shmeegie in the crib

here's a new thing that's super adorable but very irritating at the same time! schmeegie keeps jumping in the crib and curling up with ziggy while he sleeps. the down side: there are cat hairs on his bedding and he's had a few scratches on his hand from the cat wanting ziggy to pet her. the up side: they are bonding and becoming best buddies and it's just freakin' cute. so i take these pictures then yell at her, i don't know what else to do!

our last pumpkin patch visit

this was the third patch we visited today. it was the BEST! it's in half moon bay right on route 1. i think ziggy was feeling the good pumpkin vibes and the scary monsters.

this pumpkin patch had a free corn maze but we didn't actually go in it. despite what the sign says, ziggy is not a 'pumki for cook' okay?!

all this wedding talk has made me nostalgic for hana and james' wedding that happened in june. thinking back, i never posted pictures of it since i was back east so here are a few gems from then. this wedding took place in on a private farm in charlottesville virginia. james' friends built the cottage shown with their hands! how does one do that?
